Men In Trees
So the trees are being lopped at long last.
The neighbour is furiously taking photos as the men go about their lopping business.
The trees do in fact sit in the neighbour’s back yard. However they hang completely over my apartment block driveway, drop endless branches and leaves both on the driveway, and the facing balconies. When the wind picks up, or a storm rolls in, the trees are a rather intimidating force.
Obviously strata would have had to inform / agree with our neighbours of the work to take place, however they are obviously far from impressed from all observations.
I just hope the men in trees are done soon so I make my PT session. The trees and truck are blocking my garage and driveway...the inconvenience of it all! 3 hours work so far. Surely they will be done soon?

Better The Devil You Know?
Dilemma of the week.
The devil does know, and is incredibly enchanting.
The devil you don't know is dangerous, unknown, intriguing, and possibly best left that way.
Not a bad dilemma by any means!

Slave No More...
Four days on, and it appears the TV has corrected itself??!
Disappointed or rejoicing...not quite sure?

Slave To Technology?
My TV died on Friday - well it turns on, but no signal; no channels at all that I can view?
It disturbs me that I find it disturbing that I can't watch what really are quite mind numbing Sunday evening programs; all while slothing about on the couch for a lazy evening in.
But what's probably MOST disturbing of all is the fact I'm so very frustrated that I am forced to miss Gene Simmons Family Jewels. Now honestly!???
I love the iPod selection of fab, random tunes playing, the Sunday papers and my latest book; however the fact I keep reaching for the TV remote is more than a little wrong, no?
Therefore I have decided to resist my TV fix for one week. A personal experiment to see how I will in fact fill in the extra couple of hours each day which are ultimately wasted in front of the box.
Stay tuned...
